Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and support critical banking databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in banking environments
Monitor database performance, tuning, and optimization
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes (RMAN, Data Guard)
Ensure database security, compliance, and data integrity
Support core banking applications and troubleshoot database-related issues
Perform patching, upgrades, and capacity planning
Work closely with application and infrastructure teams for deployments and releases
Desired Candidate Profile
4 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c
Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning
Exposure to banking/core banking systems preferred
Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery setups
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
