Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in planning and execution of piping fabrication and installation activities.
Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with design, quality, and procurement teams.
Support shop floor supervision and manpower coordination.
Maintain production reports and documentation.
Interpret P&ID drawings, isometric drawings, and GA drawings.
Support pipe cutting, fit-up, welding, and assembly processes.
Ensure correct material identification and traceability.
Assist in hydro testing and inspection activities.
Monitor adherence to piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, etc
Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE usage.
Support QA/QC inspections and documentation.
Identify process improvements to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
Participate in root cause analysis for production issues.
Maintain production logs and daily progress reports.
Update fabrication status reports.
Coordinate with stores for material availability and tracking.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Has completed relevant internships or projects showcasing practical engineering experience.
- Exhibits proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software).
