Job Description

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control (QC) Assistant to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency are maintained across our products. As a Junior QC Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the quality control department in various tasks including inspecting, testing, and analyzing products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines. This position offers a great opportunity for growth and advancement in the quality control field. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine inspections and tests to ensure product quality meets specifications.
  • Document and record test results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings.
  • Support senior QC staff in the identification and documentation of non-conformities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality control standard operating procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the QC team, including file management and data entry tasks.
  • Coordinate with production staff to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding quality control issues.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and prepare necessary documentation for quality assessments.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the quality control area.
  • Assist in training new staff on quality control procedures and practices.
  • Help to troubleshoot operational issues that may affect product quality.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a quality control or production environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Basic understanding of quality control methodologies and procedures is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
