Kindergarten (KG) Homeroom Teacher Early Years Childhood (KG1 / KG2)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based curricula aligned with early years frameworks (e.g., EYFS, IB PYP, or UAE National Curriculum).
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Deliver structured yet flexible daily routines that balance play, learning, and social interaction for 4 6-year-olds.
• Monitor and document student progress using observational assessments and portfolio-based evaluation.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide events.
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with parents through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and digital platforms.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and emotional regulation.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school improvement initiatives.
• Support the integration of technology and creative resources to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) with certification in early years education.
• 4 5 years of proven experience teaching in KG or Early Years settings, preferably in an international or UAE-based school environment.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with both colleagues and parents.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse classroom with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
• Willingness to commit to a 2-year contract with the school.
