Job Description

As a Kitchen Helper and Assistant Cook specializing in Indian cuisine, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and appliances.
  • Ensure all ingredients and food supplies are fresh and stored properly.
  • Organize and restock pantry items and kitchen inventory as needed.
  • Follow standard recipes and procedures to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a positive and effective work environment.
  • Monitor and report any kitchen equipment needing repair or replacement.
  • Assist in plating dishes creatively and with attention to detail.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations to minimize risks in kitchen operations.
  • Participate in kitchen meetings and training sessions to enhance skillset and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding daily kitchen activities.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary training is preferred.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
