Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized regularly.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies to prevent shortages during peak service times.
- Support the dishwashing team by quickly and efficiently cleaning pots, pans, and utensils, ensuring a constant supply of clean dishes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service industry preferred but not mandatory.
- Certifications in food safety or sanitation, such as ServSafe, are a strong plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
