Position Overview
voco Hotels is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hygiene Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across all kitchen and food preparation areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health and safety compliance, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in ensuring all hygiene protocols meet brand and local regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure consistent cleanliness and sanitation across all food preparation and service areas including kitchens, dishwashing zones, storage areas, and staff facilities
* Conduct regular inspections to identify hygiene gaps, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions
* Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspection results, and staff hygiene training activities
* Work closely with the culinary, stewarding, and banquet teams to ensure all food handling meets HACCP and brand standards
* Support the implementation of sustainability and waste management initiatives within kitchen operations
* Coordinate with suppliers and external service providers to ensure compliance with hygiene requirements
* Assist in training team members on hygiene procedures and safe food handling practices

Ideal Profile

* Prior experience in kitchen hygiene, food safety, or stewarding supervision in hotels or large-scale catering operations
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and cleaning protocols
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
* Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment
* Creativity and innovation in promoting sustainable hygiene solutions
* Proficiency in record-keeping and basic reporting tools
