Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute all dishes according to established recipes and plating standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation for every order.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation of mise en place, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients to support efficient service.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes, contributing innovative culinary ideas.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a culinary degree or equivalent professional certification from a recognized culinary school.
  • Demonstrates 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Holds current food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe) and a thorough understanding of kitchen sanitation standards.
