Position Overview
The Queen Elizabeth II Hotel in Dubai is hiring a Kitchen Steward to support the smooth operation of its F&B outlets by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in kitchen and service areas. The role involves dishwashing, cleaning, stock handling, and assisting with linen transport to ensure efficient back-of-house operations.
Core Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen equipment, ensuring proper storage
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces in kitchens, restaurants, and bars
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned areas
- Transport used linen to and from the laundry or housekeeping sections
- Assist with unloading deliveries and storing stock in designated areas
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in compliance with hotel policies
- Support kitchen and service teams by ensuring a ready supply of clean items
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within hospitality preferred
Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
Organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment
Physically fit to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
Hospitality background is an advantage
