Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose of the role

  • Based in our Central Kitchen (Dubai Investment Park) and reporting to the Kitchen Stewarding in Charge, the Kitchen Stewarding Assistant is responsible to maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner by following the cleaning schedules and adhering to the HACCP standards and company policy & procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean, and supply the Central Production Unit
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Professional Requirements

  • High School/Equivalent
  • Basic knowledge and commitment to a safe work environment F&B Operation and HACCP Standards.
  • A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in similar role
