Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) is seeking to hire a Lab Officer for the Quantum Computing Lab. The successful candidate will support the establishment, operation, and development of a newly established quantum computing research laboratory. The Lab Officer is expected to have a strong background in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields, with hands-on experience in advanced laboratory systems and computational platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying laboratory equipment and infrastructure needs.
  • Liaising with vendors.
  • Evaluating technical specifications.
  • Supporting faculty and researchers in quantum computing research projects.
  • Maintaining experimental and computational setups.
  • Assisting in experiments and simulations.
  • Documenting results.
  • Ensuring a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
