Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:-

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee the laboratory operations of our lubricants and grease manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for managing quality control testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining laboratory accreditation and ISO audit readiness. The role requires strong technical expertise in petroleum product testing and experience in handling ISO quality management systems and audits.

Key Responsibilities

1- Manage and supervise all laboratory operations related to lubricants, base oils, and grease testing. 2-Ensure all quality control tests are conducted as per ASTM, IP, and ISO standards.

3- Maintain and implement ISO Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure laboratory compliance with ISO requirements.

4- Lead and coordinate internal and external ISO audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

5-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory testing and quality assurance.

6- Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished lubricant and grease products. 7- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory instruments and equipment.

8-Manage laboratory staff including training, performance monitoring, and work allocation.

9- Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.

10- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

11- Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams to resolve product quality issues.

12- Monitor laboratory consumables and maintain inventory of testing materials.

13- Oversee formulation development and precise dosage preparation for lubricants and grease products.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications, Skills &experience;-

A-Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.

B- Minimum 10 20 years of experience in a lubricant or grease manufacturing laboratory.

C- Strong knowledge of lubricant and grease testing methods and quality standards.

D- Mandatory experience in ISO audits and quality management systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 preferred).

E- Experience in ASTM and IP testing standards.

F- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
