Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our construction team in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate land surveys, site measurements, and boundary assessments to support infrastructure and building projects. You will ensure that all survey data complies with Omani regulations, project specifications, and international best practices.
Applicants should have hands-on experience in GCC-based projects, strong knowledge of modern surveying instruments, and a thorough understanding of Omani land and construction regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and site surveys using GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare accurate survey drawings, maps, and reports for project design and execution.
- Verify site levels, layout alignments, and setting out works in compliance with project plans.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure precision in execution.
- Monitor and maintain survey equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
- Ensure all work complies with Omani land regulations, safety standards, and construction codes.
- Provide survey support during feasibility studies, tendering, and construction phases.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in construction or contracting.
- GCC or Oman project experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and surveying software.
- Knowledge of Omani surveying regulations and land laws.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
