Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the laundry staff during shifts.
- Ensure the efficient and timely processing of all laundry and linen to meet hotel standards.
- Monitor and maintain laundry equipment and arrange for repairs or servicing as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the laundry department.
- Train and develop laundry staff to maintain high performance and quality.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and chemicals, and place orders as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, staff attendance, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet operational requirements.
- Implement environmentally friendly laundry practices in line with Accor s sustainability initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in laundry supervision or management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of laundry machinery, detergents, and cleaning agents.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
