Roles & Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

Investment Origination & Strategy

  • Lead the sourcing, assessment, and execution of high-value investment opportunities, including joint ventures and public-private partnerships (PPP).
  • Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with JCPDI s economic development objectives and asset monetization plans.
  • Identify market trends, risks, and opportunities to proactively shape JCPDI s investment positioning.

Financial Analysis & Deal Structuring

  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuations, and investment feasibility studies.
  • Structure creative financing solutions, including equity, debt, and mezzanine instruments, to maximize project viability and returns.
  • Prepare and present compelling investment cases to attract and secure funding from targeted investors.

Negotiation & Execution

  • Lead investor negotiations and structure partnership terms that balance JCPDI s strategic objectives with investor requirements.
  • Oversee due diligence, regulatory compliance, and closing processes for investment transactions.
  • Draft and finalize joint venture agreements, shareholder frameworks, and partnership documentation in coordination with legal teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Network Development

  • Maintain and expand a strong network of Middle East investment funds, institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and strategic partners in the real estate, commercial & industrial sectors.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for investor relations, building long-term partnerships and repeat investment channels.
  • Represent JCPDI at industry conferences, roadshows, and high-level investment meetings.

Leadership & Capacity Building

  • Mentor and develop junior investment team members, enhancing the organization s investment capabilities.
  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration, ensuring integration between investment, legal, policy, engineering, and planning departments.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or additional certifications in M&A, corporate law, or investment strategy preferred).
  • 15 years of senior-level experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, or corporate finance, with a strong focus on both industrial and commercial real estate.
  • Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing complex, high-value investment deals including cross-border transactions, PPPs, JVs, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Advanced expertise in financial analysis and modeling (DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis), asset valuation, due diligence, and risk assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign direct investment (FDI), public-private partnerships (PPP), and investment promotion, ideally with experience in the Middle East market.
