Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Lead QAQC Engineer manages quality assurance and control activities on major construction projects, leading a team of QAQC Engineers and Inspectors to ensure all works are executed in conformance with contract specifications, approved submittals, and project ITPs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead quality inspection and surveillance activities across all construction disciplines on assigned projects.
Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
Manage NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processes including issuance, tracking, and closure.
Conduct internal quality audits and ensure timely close-out of audit findings.
Review and approve material submittals and factory/site test results.
Coordinate with subcontractors on quality compliance and corrective actions.
Prepare and present QAQC reports to project management and client representatives.
Mentor and supervise QAQC Engineers and Inspectors.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction.
10–15 years of QAQC experience with a Tier 1 UAE contractor, including 3+ years in a lead role.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, material testing requirements, and inspection protocols.
