Job Overview:

Dar Al Fikr Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Difficulties Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will have 2 5 years of hands-on experience supporting students with learning difficulties and a strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

This role requires effective classroom management, assessment, and instructional planning, close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and clear communication with students, families, and colleagues in Arabic and/or English, as required by the school. The teacher will promote an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment and utilize assistive technologies to support student success.

Requirements:

• Saudi nationality.
• Bachelor s degree in Special Education, Education, or a closely related field.
• 2 5 years of direct experience working with students with learning difficulties or special educational needs.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and individualized intervention plans.
• Proficiency in using assessment tools to identify learning needs and track student progress.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and curriculum adaptation strategies.
• Effective classroom management skills, including the use of positive behavior support techniques.
• Teaching certification preferred (locally or internationally recognized).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate support services.
• Proficiency in Arabic and/or English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and educational software used to support students with learning difficulties.

• Ability to maintain confidential records and comply with child protection and school policies.
