To assist and support pupils with additional learning needs

Provide additional support for all identified pupils across different areas of the curriculum

During in class support, ensure that all pupils can integrate as fully as possible in activities in the classroom

Contribute to all identified pupils overall progress across different areas of the curriculum

Implement IEP and learner profile targets for students and deliver interventions as directed by the inclusion teacher

Monitor, record and report progress of IEP targets and interventions on Planning sheets

Make and adapt resources and learning materials to suit the needs of all students

Manage student behaviour in line with school behaviour policy or pupils bespoke behaviour policy

Provide learning support for pupils within the classroom and in withdrawal situations, either 1:1 or small groups

To develop knowledge of the particular needs of identified children and seek advice from the Inclusion Lead, inclusion teacher and class teacher

Aid access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom and provide modified materials as required

Provide positive praise and reinforcements

Communicate effectively with classroom teachers to understand student needs and curriculum objectives

Participate in team meetings and curriculum department meetings and professional development sessions

Attends weekly meeting with your line manager

Attend ILSA/LSA clinic when required led by Inclusion Leads.

Work as part of the team to ensure that the well being and personal development of all pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills

Contribute to the pupils termly review meetings

Understand and apply the school policies on learning and behaviour, and the Statutory guidelines relating to disability discrimination and special educational needs

Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all pupils needs but have regard to the safeguarding procedures of the school

Carry out additional duties as directed by the Inclusion Lead.
