Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
This role serves as a strategic partner to the MEA region in designing and delivering effective learning solutions while supporting strategic global HR priorities and ensuring operational excellence.
Reporting into the Global Head of Learning and Development, the role will apply thought leadership, project management and strong facilitation skills to successfully design and deliver talent programmes and business change initiatives across learning, leadership and talent.
Deep expertise of managing, designing and delivering across all phases of the learning cycle is essential, including ROI and learning metrics.
Adopting a trusted advisor approach, the role will collaborate closely with the Regional Head of HR, local HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Global Learning, Leadership and Talent team and regional Practice Group stakeholders to identify and address specific learning and talent development needs across the firm.
The role will focus on equipping stakeholder groups with essential professional development and behavioural skills, enabling them to deliver exceptional client services.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly engage with key regional stakeholders to align the regional business priorities with global learning and talent projects.
- Review existing talent mapping initiatives, analysing data to identify gaps and opportunities for development and integrating findings into talent development strategies in collaboration with HR Business Partners in the region.
- Design and deliver engaging and relevant learning solutions for diverse audiences, partnering with external suppliers where required and ensuring alignment with existing content that is available globally.
- Design a strategy and approach for delivering team development days to drive higher performance and build cohesive teams across the region.
- Ensure that learning administration support delivered from the central service centre (UK based) is of a high quality and in compliance with regional and regulatory requirements.
- Provide line management support to the Learning and Talent Advisor, facilitating their professional growth and performance management, ensuring that their assigned projects are delivered effectively.
- Oversee the delivery and impact of the second phase of the hybrid KSA Trainee Programme in collaboration with the Global Learning and Talent team and key stakeholders, ensuring that mandatory requirements are tracked and reported.
- Provide project management and support to the Global Learning and Talent strategic priorities.
- Review effectiveness of existing global talent programmes and identify any gaps in the key career milestones of high potential talent in the region.
- Draw insights from metrics to enhance learning and talent initiatives and to make commercial decisions about future investments, ensuring programmes deliver value for money and the required impact.
- Oversee the firm's external coaching offering and internal mentoring capability.
- Hold budget management responsibility for the regional allocation of learning and development costs.
- Oversee contracting and negotiations with key external suppliers in the region, in alignment with global requirements.
- Provide regular progress reports to regional and global leadership as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experienced learning and development professional (experience in Manager/ Business Partner level) with experience of working in professional services environments.
Demonstrated skills in facilitating and designing learning curricula and leadership programmes using the most up to date methodologies and technologies, tailoring to specific audiences.
Proven track record in partnering with external suppliers to source high quality learning solutions and managing these relationships.
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and allocating budgets for learning and talent development initiatives.
Prior experience of working with regional and global cross-functional teams in complex environments undergoing significant transformation and modernisation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to partner, advise and influence at all levels of the business.
Strategically minded with strong attention to detail.
A self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision.
Comfortable in working at pace in sometimes ambiguous situations with strong project management skills and a solution focused, pragmatic approach.
Accreditation with psychometric tools is desirable, e.g. Discovery Insights, Hogan.
