Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the leasing process by managing tenant applications, lease agreements, and renewals to ensure smooth transitions and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct thorough background checks and credit evaluations on prospective tenants to maintain a high standard of tenant quality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lease agreements, tenant communications, and property maintenance requests using property management software.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and distribute lease documentation, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly outlined and understood by both parties.
- Monitor and manage rent collection processes, including sending reminders and following up on late payments to ensure timely revenue flow.
- Generate and analyze leasing reports to provide insights on occupancy rates, tenant turnover, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all leasing activities adhere to local regulations and industry standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field to ensure a strong foundational knowledge of leasing practices.
- 1-3 years of experience in property management or leasing administration, showcasing a proven track record of successful tenant relations.
- Real estate license or certification preferred, demonstrating commitment and knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, to create reports and manage documentation effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with tenants, landlords, and service providers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle tenant disputes and maintenance issues calmly and professionally.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to work effectively with a diverse range of tenants and landlords.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader tenant demographic.
