Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for lawyers with 5 to 7 years top tier post qualification experience in project development or project finance to join our panel to meet the demands of our clients.
Examples of some of our recent opportunities :
- Project finance lawyer needed for energy client to assist with the project financing of power and water assets based in Abu Dhabi
- Project development lawyer with procurement and contract experience to support a client based in KSA remotely from UAE
- Projects lawyer working for an oil & gas client advising and negotiating EPC, O&M and other related infrastructure contracts based in Abu Dhabi
Our Criteriabr>
Successful candidates will:
- have at least four years' PQE in a law firm ranked as top tier for project finance or project development
- ideally have recent in-house legal experience across corporates, financial institutions and sovereign entities;
- preferably have experience in the Middle East and fluency in Arabic;
- have a desire to take ownership of their career and be responsible for their own professional development and network, proactively making use of any support and resources available;
- have researched the personal and financial factors that you need to consider when commencing a career as a legal consultant and be comfortable with the ways in which it differs from permanent employment;
- have a consultant mindset, including a highly professional, flexible and adaptable outlook and approach; and
- have a practising certificate (or equivalent) which entitles them to practise as a lawyer in the region.
