Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Providing specialized legal advice to management and various departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations relevant to the company s operations.
- Preparing legal briefs and risk assessment reports, including clear recommendations to management regarding current and potential legal matters.
- Representing the company before courts, judicial bodies, and regulatory authorities, and pleading on its behalf in all types of cases and claims in Baghdad and other governorates.
- Ensuring the enforcement of judicial judgments and decisions in a manner that safeguards the company s rights and minimizes operational or financial risks.
- Bachelor s degree in Law.
- 3 5 years of proven practical experience in the legal field, preferably within the fintech sector or corporate environment.
- Registered member of the Iraqi Bar Association.
- Excellent report writing, legal research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic, with preference for fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Law.
- 3 5 years of proven practical experience in the legal field, preferably within the fintech sector or corporate environment.
