Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, testing, and certification of lifting equipment and cranes in accordance with applicable international standards and client specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company procedures.

  • Conduct visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing of lifting equipment.

  • Identify defects, unsafe conditions, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare accurate inspection reports, certificates, and technical documentation in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with clients, site supervisors, and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient inspection activities.

  • Support audit requirements and maintain readiness for authority and client audits.

  • Ensure proper use and calibration status of inspection tools and equipment.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients and represent the company in a professional manner at project sites.

  • Follow company QHSE policies and promote safe working practices at all times.

    Candidates with experience in inspection of the following equipment will be highly preferred:

    • Mobile Cranes

    • Elevators & Escalators

    • Elevating Work Platforms (EWP)

    • Marine & Offshore Cranes

    • Storage & Retrieval Machines

    • Articulating Boom Cranes

    • Lifting / Spreader Beams

    • Powered Platforms / Sky Climbers

    • Vehicle-Mounted Elevating & Rotating Aerial Devices

    • Man Baskets

    • Fixed Cranes & Hoists

    • Side Boom Cranes & Tractors

    • A-Frame & Mobile Gantry Systems

    • Tower Cranes

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong technical knowledge of lifting equipment inspection and applicable standards.

  • Practical experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, construction, or marine environments.

  • Familiarity with Aramco, ADNOC, or major inspection body requirements is highly preferred.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, load charts, and technical manuals.

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.

  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to work independently under site conditions.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to travel across project locations within Saudi Arabia.
