Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage direct relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, and NVOCCs.
- Generate new business and secure bookings across major trade lanes.
- Promote the company s liner services and achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Leverage existing customer base to bring in immediate business.
- Negotiate rates and contracts in line with company policies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth cargo handling and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in liner or NVOCC sales within the UAE market.
- Proven customer network and ability to bring revenue from day one.
- Strong knowledge of container shipping, trade routes, and pricing structures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Must be target-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
