Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Lobby Hostess to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive first impression of our hotel.

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional reception
  • Offer personalized assistance and information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Coordinate with front office, concierge, and bell staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures
  • Maintain the lobby area and public spaces in a clean, organized, and visually appealing condition
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and reservations efficiently and courteously
  • Monitor guest satisfaction in the lobby area and address any concerns promptly
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, departures, and special occasions
  • Promote hotel services and experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all public areas
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless guest experiences
  • Stay informed about local events and attractions to provide up-to-date information to guests

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in guest services, concierge, or hostess roles, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are highly advantageous
  • Professional appearance and confident demeanor
  • Knowledge of local attractions, culture, and amenities in Dubai and the surrounding areas
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for maintaining a pristine lobby environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude

Additional Information

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar role
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
