Roles & Responsibilities
About The Role
- Drive service excellence and guest satisfaction daily, focusing on the Lounge Area
- Be fully aware of the restaurant/lounge order of service and standards, and provide support to the team with service to ensure the guest s needs are understood and fulfilled
- Set guidelines and standards and ensure they are maintained
- Ensure that all front of house equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant/lounge maintenance program
- Provide guidance, support, and direction to the team both in and out of service
- Perform as a leader of your outlet, delegating and coaching your management team towards achieving deadlines and delivering results
- Ensure reservations are maximized within the lounge/restaurant in liaison with Reception and the Restaurant Reservations team
- In absence of outlet manager handle guest complaints as per company P&P, this includes social media and 3rd party websites where guest may have negative or positive comments (Example: TripAdvisor)
- Ensure adherence to cash handling and reconciliation policies and procedures
- Minimum 3 5 years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
- International experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Committed to and passionate about the food and beverage industry
