Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with lymphedema, utilizing specialized techniques to determine the severity and nature of the condition.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), compression therapy, and exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs.
- Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies, including skin care, exercise, and compression garment use, to promote independence and long-term well-being.
- Provide skilled application of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), a comprehensive approach including MLD, compression bandaging, exercise, and skin care.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Hold a current license to practice physiotherapy in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification from a recognized organization.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience specializing in lymphedema management.
