Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of machinery and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to ensure production continuity.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that align with operational requirements and reduce disruption.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory to ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of spare parts and tools, optimizing inventory levels to avoid shortages.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize computer-aided maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Certifications in maintenance management (such as CMRP or CMRT) that demonstrate commitment to professional development.
  • Proven experience with PLCs and automation systems, essential for troubleshooting and maintaining modern industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills that enable quick diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.
