Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a risk-based annual audit plan.

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to reporting.

  • Evaluate financial, operational, and compliance risks.

  • Identify key risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and governance standards.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the internal audit team.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve internal controls and efficiencies.

  • Act as liaison with external auditors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA (mandatory).

  • 7–10 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related field.

  • Prior leadership or managerial experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT).
