Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Manager Learning Design will execute the design, development and implementation of technical eLearning content across the Qiddiya program. The role will be responsible for the development of innovative, self-paced learning and the successful implementation of blended learning modules relevant to the business needs of the Development Organization within Qiddiya. The role will report to the Senior Manager Training and Curriculum.
1. Leads the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing culture on the project, and empowers the Team to execute health/safety/wellbeing initiatives.
2. Demonstrates leadership behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya Values, at all times.
3. Manages, coaches and mentors junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables.
4. Deliver the Self-Led Holistic Training Academy in the Development Organization by designing and delivering engaging eLearning and digital learning content that supports the business needs of the Development Organization using industry-standard tools (Articulate 360 preferred).
5. Support the development of the training and curriculum strategy in collaboration with the People and Culture Team and Subject Matter Experts (SME s), ensuring organizational objectives and workforce needs are met and aligned with agreed capabilities.
6. Define clear learning objectives and develop assessments to measure capability and training effectiveness.
7. Design the creation of innovative training/learning materials and programs that are engaging and effective for diverse employee groups, reflecting quality instructional design practices and adult learning principles.
8. Drive and uphold best content management practices to ensure that training materials are up-to-date, accessible, and easily retrievable. Implement and design learning curricula, develop learning spaces, learning pathways and learning content.
9. Design the creation of innovative training/learning materials and programs that are engaging and effective for diverse employee groups, reflecting the identified capabilities for each topic.
10. Work closely with SMEs to develop tailored training solutions and other relevant stakeholders that address specific functional needs and drive the capabilities framework.
11. Manages stakeholders expectations and provides regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
12. Utilize technology and e-learning platforms to enhance training delivery and accessibility for all employees, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards and organizational frameworks.
13. Enable the use of AI Assessments, gamified checkpoints and digital simulations in the learning content, ensuring learning modules are immersive and conceptual.
14. Provide regular reports to senior management on training outcomes, participant feedback, and areas for improvement, highlighting alignment with our priority training and curriculum strategy.
15. Drive quality standards for all learning materials, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with instructional objectives and agreed business capabilities.
