Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operational / Functional
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and preservation of materials and spare parts.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve space utilization and reduce handling time.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO principles to minimize obsolescence and expired stock.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) regulations.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely material availability at sites.
- Oversee documentation of receipts, transfers, issues, and returns in ERP systems.
- Develop and enforce warehouse and inventory policies, SOPs, and KPIs.
- Ensure alignment with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams for demand planning.
- Monitor inventory levels, min-max, and reorder points to balance availability and working capital.
- Lead root cause analysis for stock discrepancies, shrinkage, or material shortages.
- Implement automation, digital warehouse systems, and barcoding/RFID tracking.
- Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate valuation, capitalization, and write-off processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing full transparency on material records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean warehouse, 5S, digitization, etc.).
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in logistics and spare parts management.

- Being a proactive and strategic thinker, anticipating challenges and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse and inventory teams across sites.
- Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and performance metrics for warehouse supervisors and inventory officers.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with procurement, maintenance, and operations.
- Identify training needs and provide coaching to enhance technical and soft skills.
- Champion change management in warehouse modernization projects (automation, AI, VMI, consignment).
- Influence senior leadership decisions with data-driven insights on inventory trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as the owner of warehouse & inventory strategy, balancing cost optimization with operational reliability.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
Bachelor s degree + Master Degree (Preferable)
Experience:
10 Year relevant experience
Skills:
