Roles & Responsibilities

Global media rights support (except China)

  • Support global media rights strategy development, including regional assessments, packaging logic, and deal playbooks.

  • Help manage the global media rights pipeline: tracking leads, deal status, key terms, timelines, and risk/issue logs.

  • Prepare negotiation materials and internal approvals (decks, business cases, benchmarks) for rights deals with broadcasters, platforms, and agencies.

  • Coordinate with Broadcast, Product, Legal, and Finance to ensure all rights and obligations are understood and executable across regions.

  • Support contract renewals and post-mortems, gathering learnings to feed into future cycles.


D2C product & ecosystem strategy

  • Co-lead the definition of EWC s D2C value proposition (EWC freemium and premium models, passes, fantasy, loyalty, etc.), working with Product, Games, Creator, and Commercial teams.

  • Translate strategic concepts into clear product requirements and implementation plans

  • Work with partners and internal tech/product teams to understand feasibility, integration requirements, and operational implications for D2C features.

  • Coordinate test-and-learn pilots and define how D2C products integrate into the broader EWC digital ecosystem (e.g., in-game items, creator offerings, sponsor packages).


Fan monetization business modelling & pricing

  • Build and maintain financial models for D2C and fan monetization products (pricing, penetration, ARPU, revenue projections, sensitivity analysis).

  • Support the design of pricing and tiering structures (freemium vs premium, bundles, regional pricing) to balance scale and monetization.

  • Partner with Finance and Data teams to set KPIs and track performance of D2C and fan monetization initiatives against targets.

Project manager for monetization workstreams

  • Serve as day-to-day project manager for D2C monetization streams.

  • Own the cross-functional workplans, timelines, and deliverables; ensure each stream stays on track.

  • Organize and run weekly working group calls and support bi-weekly steering committees, preparing agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, and follow-ups.

  • Maintain a central source of truth (roadmap, trackers, risk registers) for all monetization streams and escalate issues early.


Insights, reporting & senior stakeholder management

  • Consolidate performance dashboards across media rights, D2C, and fan monetization streams for leadership.

  • Support preparation of steering docs, board updates, and strategic presentations.

  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations on where to double down, where to pivot, and which pilots should scale.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in media rights, OTT, D2C, digital product, business development, or fan monetization, ideally in esports, gaming, sports, or entertainment.

  • Bachelor s degree in business, Marketing, Media, Economics, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of media rights, content distribution models, and how audience scale translates into rights value and advertising potential.

  • Hands-on experience with D2C or fan monetization products (subscriptions, passes, in-game items, loyalty, memberships, or similar).

  • Strong project management / PMO skills: able to structure complex workstreams, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver against tight timelines.

  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel/Sheets, KPI dashboards) and the ability to turn data into clear decisions.

  • Comfortable working with Product/Tech teams and understanding product requirement documents, roadmaps, and integration constraints.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to work across Commercial, Product, Games, Marketing, Distribution, and external partners/consultants.

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Passion for esports and digital culture; experience with major streaming and social platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) is a plus.
