Manager, MEP Majid Al Futtaim

The position is responsible to lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) as-built drawings update of Majid Al Futtaim Properties assets. The MEP Lead (Manager) coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages performance, and ensures quality and sustainability in all MEP deliverables and ensures all MEP submitted drawings meets international standards.

Document Management: Receive, register, track, and manage all MEP-related drawings and documents, ensuring controlled distribution to relevant stakeholders.

Drawings Maintenance: Maintain an updated repository of MEP drawings that reflect all changes, revisions, and as-built conditions for landlord areas and shared facilities.

Version Control: Ensure proper version control is implemented across all MEP documentation, preventing use of outdated or superseded drawings.

Coordination: Collaborate closely with appointed consultants and contractors on ongoing as-built drawing projects to ensure their successful completion.

Filing & Archiving: Lead the organization of the archived MEP documents and drawings (both digital and hard copy), ensuring they are easily retrievable and in compliance with company standards.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Review as-built drawings for completeness, consistency, and compliance with project standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Support Project Teams: Ensure alignment of drawings with project requirements, codes, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, etc.). Lead clash detection and resolution processes.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

10+ years of experience in MEP management on large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, etc.)PMP, LEED, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software. Revit MEP is a plus.

Strong command of the English language.
