Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases for manual testing.
Execute test cases manually and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, specifically in manual testing.
Stay up to date with emerging manual testing techniques and best practices in the software testing field.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in the airline domain.
Strong understanding of the airline industry, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment concepts.
Experience in manual testing of applications and software, with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing.
Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or similar for manual validation.
Familiarity with database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
