Marble Estimator / Quantity Sorveyor Sayyar Trading

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Drawings: Create detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details for marble, granite, and quartz projects using CAD software.

• Site Measurement Interpretation: Review site measurements taken by field technicians and incorporate them into production drawings.

• CNC Programming Support: Prepare DXF files and necessary technical data for CNC machinery.

• Material Optimization: Layout stone patterns to maximize yield and minimize waste, paying close attention to grain/vein matching.

• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, installers, and shop supervisors to resolve design conflicts before fabrication begins.

• Quality Control: Review finished drawings for accuracy against architectural specifications and design standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with stone industry software (e.g., Alphacam, Cabinet Vision, or similar) is highly preferred.

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a draftsman, preferably within the stone fabrication, cabinetry, or architectural millwork industries.

• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of stone fabrication techniques, seam placement, edge profiles, and installation methods.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in measurements and ability to spot discrepancies in blueprints.

• Communication: Ability to explain technical drawings to fabrication staff and interact professionally with clients or contractors.
