Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, and electrical system issues, ensuring optimal vessel performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to prevent breakdowns and extend engine life.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to pinpoint mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Fabricate and install custom parts or modify existing systems to meet specific vessel needs or improve performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Holds a relevant vocational certification in marine mechanics or a related field, showcasing specialized training.
- Obtains certifications in areas like ABYC or EPA 608, highlighting a commitment to industry standards.
- Demonstrates 3+ years of hands-on experience in marine mechanics, providing practical knowledge.
