Marine Pilot ACE Management

Carry out pilotage services to ships in a safe and efficient manner.

Supervise special towage operations as required by the marine management,

Carry out STS as and when required by marine management.

Establish adequate coordination and communication with relevant parties prior to carrying out any marine operation.

Establish good working relationship with tugs crews, port control, and other relevant parties.

Provide on job training for trainee pilots.

Assist in training of marine staff.

Ensure relevant records and forms are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain efficient knowledge of local marine environment in order to provide adequate advice to masters of calling vessels.

Keep good lookout on all navigation aids and immediately report any malfunctions to port control.

Coordinate with GSO to check for any damages on the quay wall or mooring equipment and immediately report to port control.

Provide marine management with timely advice on all matters relevant to the efficient function of the marine department and provide suggestions for improvement.

Participate in all departmental functions and meetings as required by marine management.

Maintain proper representation of the company.

Participate in a roster system with the other Pilots to maintain cover on a 24-hour basis.
