Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead HTA submissions (cost-effectiveness, budget impact models).
- Secure reimbursement approvals from government/insurance bodies.
- Monitor pricing & reimbursement policies (local & global).
- Develop value dossiers (clinical + economic evidence) for payers.
- Define pricing strategies(reference pricing, risk-sharing agreements).
- Negotiate payer contracts (hospitals, insurers, PBMs).
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis for new & existing products.
- Build relationships with health authorities, payers, KOLs, and policymakers.
- Train sales teams on market access messaging.
- Collaborate with medical, commercial, and regulatory teams for aligned strategies.
- Work with RWE (Real-World Evidence) teams to support access arguments.
- Ensure alignment between clinical data and commercial needs.
- Develop payer value propositions (differentiation vs. competitors).
- Monitor healthcare policy changes affecting access.
- Support patient access schemes (e.g., co-pay, patient assistance).
- Engage in advocacy initiatives (disease awareness, funding programs).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s/Master s in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, or Economics.
- Proven track record in securing reimbursement approvals.
- Familiarity with HTA bodies (NICE, ICER, local agencies).
- Deep understanding of payer systems (public/private).
- Experience in both launch and in-market products.
- 6 years of experience sales.
- Strong knowledge of HTA, reimbursement pathways, and payer landscapes. br
- Experience in pricing strategy development (VBP, risk-sharing models).
- Understanding of cost-effectiveness models (CEA), budget impact models (BIA).
- Ability to interpret clinical & economic data for payer negotiations.
- Proven ability to negotiate with payers, insurers, and government bodies. br
- Strong influence & persuasion skills with key decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Excel, IQVIA, and market access analytics tools.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Understanding of pharma compliance (anti-bribery, transparency laws).
- Familiarity with local & international pricing regulations.
- Stakeholders focused; strong networking is preferable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ethical mindset and commitment to complying with industry regulations and company policies.
