Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed material schedules, ensuring timely delivery of fit-out materials to meet project deadlines and prevent delays.
- Proactively manage material inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing storage space while ensuring sufficient stock levels.
- Collaborate closely with the site team to monitor material usage, track variations, and address any discrepancies between planned and actual consumption.
- Prepare and issue material requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documents, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical principles.
- Holds relevant certifications such as APICS or CPIM, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise in materials management.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in material planning or procurement within the fit-out or construction industry, showcasing practical knowledge.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of fit-out materials, including their properties, applications, and installation requirements, ensuring effective material selection.
