Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems for optimized performance.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to drive innovation in product development.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
  • Oversee the testing and validation processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, processes, and project outcomes to support future initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of marine engine systems, their components, and associated mechanical engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, safety standards, and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • minimum 5 years' experience in UAE in related field.
