Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Multiple positions needed for Offshore project in Qatar
- Oversee and manage the execution of painting, piping and fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work, including visual checks, dimensional accuracy and material integrity to guarantee quality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the offshore team, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions related to painting, piping and fabrication processes.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements, ensuring they align with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, track resource allocation and identify potential delays or cost overruns, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors to ensure seamless integration of painting, piping and fabrication activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, highlighting key achievements, challenges and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments and incident investigations related to painting, piping and fabrication operations.
- Manage and maintain records of materials, equipment and personnel related to painting, piping and fabrication activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as API, NACE , BGAS or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore oil and gas industry.
- Experience should be focused on painting, piping and fabrication.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising offshore projects.
- Has a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Possesses strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
