Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support ongoing construction and commissioning activities in the Oil & Gas Downstream sector. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, align, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery used in refining and petrochemical operations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on heat exchangers, pressure vessels, atmospheric columns, furnaces, boilers, and associated piping systems.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and alignment.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
• Use appropriate hand and power tools, lifting and alignment equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems during construction and commissioning phases.
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and permit systems while working in hazardous environments.
• Document work completed and maintain equipment maintenance records as per industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Fitter in refinery or petrochemical plant environments.
• Ordinary National Certificate in Mechanical Fitter cum Millwright trade (or equivalent qualification).
• Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance, including large industrial components and systems.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical and piping drawings and understanding of industrial assembly tolerances.
• Familiarity with construction and commissioning processes in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
