Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently, and ensure a smooth patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and confirm appointments while adhering to clinic protocols.
  • Answer phones professionally, manage calls, take detailed messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Verify patient insurance information, collect co-pays, and process payments accurately and confidentially.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is essential, showcasing a solid understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and scheduling software is crucial for efficient patient management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to interact with patients and medical staff effectively.
