Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform aseptic tissue processing and stem cell culture in a GMP-certified cleanroom
  • Prepare tissue culture media, reagents, and supplements under sterile conditions
  • Conduct flow cytometry, cell viability assays, and related quality control procedures
  • Maintain cleanroom standards, perform equipment calibration, and monitor KPIs
  • Accurately process and document human samples using validated protocols
  • Ensure proper data entry in LIS and maintain sample/test documentation
  • Support audits, inspections, and accreditation activities
  • Monitor cryogenic storage (LN2 levels), maintain safety, and follow SOPs
  • Participate in training programs and assist in onboarding new lab staff
  • Comply with all hospital policies, quality systems, and patient safety standards

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5–7 years of laboratory experience, with at least 2–3 years in a similar role, preferably in a GMP-regulated or orthobiological lab
  • Strong knowledge of:
    Aseptic tissue handling
    Stem cell culture    , subculturing, and cell maintenance
    Cell viability assays    , cell count, and cryopreservation
  • Experience in operating flow cytometers, maintaining laboratory documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
  • Must fulfill all relevant medical licensure requirements (as applicable in Qatar)
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols, quality assurance, and data integrity standards
  • Demonstrates excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
