MEP Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator with a minimum of 8 years proven expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing coordination within large-scale construction projects. The role involves overseeing all MEP works, ensuring seamless coordination between different disciplines, maintaining compliance with project specifications, and delivering high-quality standards within timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all MEP activities across construction projects.
• Review MEP drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and execution.
• Monitor installation works for quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and conflicts between different disciplines.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and compliance records.
• Support procurement processes by reviewing technical submissions and material approvals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the project team.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design standards, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office (knowledge of BIM is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID.
