Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical) using AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an added advantage). • Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural drawings to identify and resolve clashes. • Conduct MEP coordination meetings and incorporate coordination decisions into drawings. • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international codes. • Revise drawings based on consultant comments, RFIs, and site conditions. • Prepare and maintain as-built drawings upon project completion. • Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions, and version control. • Support site teams with updated drawings and technical clarifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Diploma or certification in MEP Drafting, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Building Services. • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in MEP drafting and coordination. • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP and Navisworks experience is a plus. • Solid understanding of MEP systems and coordination requirements in building projects. • Experience with commercial, residential, high-rise, or high rise buildings. Skills & Competencies • Strong clash identification and resolution skills • Excellent attention to detail and spatial coordination ability • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Good communication and coordination skills • Strong understanding of construction drawings and site practices • Candidate should be Flexible to travel other Emirates.
