MEP Draftsman AMJAAD ENGINEERING AND CONTRACTING

Amjaad Group is seeking a highly experienced MEP Coordination Draftsman with a strong background in hotel projects and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to support both design and site teams with precision and clarity. Key Responsibilities Coordination & Drafting • Prepare MEP coordinated shop drawings, combined services layouts, builder’s work, and as-built drawings. • Integrate architectural and structural inputs to resolve clashes across MEP disciplines. • Attend coordination meetings and incorporate feedback into updated drawings. • Ensure optimal routing, levels, and clearances for all services.

Project & Site Support • Translate design intent into fully coordinated drawings. • Assist site engineers with technical clarifications and drawing updates. • Maintain drawing registers and revision logs.

Required Qualifications

Experience • Minimum 10 years in MEP drafting and coordination. • Proven experience in hotel building projects. • Strong background in clash detection and coordination drawings.

Technical Skills • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory). • Working knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage. • Solid understanding of HVAC, electrical (power, lighting, ELV), plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

Soft Skills • Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. • Proactive approach to problem-solving. Preferred (Optional) • BIM Level 2 experience. • Exposure to large-scale or high-rise developments.
