Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) cost estimations for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and detail.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for precise budgeting.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess scope changes and their impact on overall project costs.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost reports that support the decision-making process for procurement and contract negotiations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant MEP estimating experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Technician (CCT) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) are highly preferred.
- Experience with MEP software tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or specific estimating software is essential.
