Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven and analytical Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst to join our corporate development team. The M&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the evaluation, execution, and integration of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. This position requires strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of valuation techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to drive business growth through inorganic strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of potential acquisition targets, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various transaction scenarios and outcomes
  • Perform detailed due diligence, analyzing financial statements, operational performance, and market positioning of target companies
  • Research industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify potential opportunities and risks
  • Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and reports for senior leadership and investment committees
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of transaction terms, working closely with legal, tax, and finance teams
  • Track ongoing deal pipelines, monitor post-transaction performance, and assist in integration activities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors including investment banks, consultants, and legal counsel
  • Contribute to strategic projects that enhance the company s acquisition strategy and capital allocation efficiency

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMaster s degree, MBA, or CFA designation preferred

Experience

2 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consultingProven experience in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis

Skills

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or PitchBookStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities, including preparation of executive-level presentationsAbility to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insightsHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling confidential informationStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting cross-border transactions or complex corporate restructuringsKnowledge of accounting standards, corporate finance principles, and capital marketsFamiliarity with post-merger integration processes and synergy tracking
