Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Microwave Engineer (NEC)

Level: L2

Experience: Minimum 5+ years

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience with NEC Microwave transmission systems.
  • Solid knowledge of MW network design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Hands-on experience in NEC MW equipment configuration and integration.
  • Experience in path survey, LOS verification, and link planning.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for MW transmission issues and outages.
  • Good understanding of IP networking (L2/L3 concepts).
  • Experience in alignment, testing, and acceptance of MW links.
  • Familiarity with NEC network management systems (NMS).
  • Knowledge of link budget analysis and MW performance KPIs.
  • Experience in software upgrades and network expansion activities.
  • Ability to support live network operations and urgent troubleshooting scenarios.
